My name is Kelly Benbow and I love living and teaching in Oakdale. I enjoy being part of this small town community. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree from Fresno State. I then received my Multiple Subjects Credential from California State University, Stanislaus. I have taught in Oakdale since 2012. I am constantly striving to improve my knowledge of teaching and attend workshops/conferences to develop my teaching style. I also got my Master's of Science in Curriculum and Instruction in 2016 through Western Governors University. Because of my passion for lesson design and effective instruction I became an Academic Coach for OJUSD in 2021. My purpose is to support teacher hone their craft, provide resources and professional development opportunities, while building lifelong relationships. I enjoy anything outdoors so most weekends you'll find me at the lake or hiking with my dog, Harley!
