Portobello Mushrooms

Portobello Mushrooms (a.k.a Portobella, Portabella) are simply a more mature and fully grown normal Brown Mushrooms (Crimini). Growing to be a substantial size, Portobello Mushrooms are very popular as BBQ items and as stuffed food items. Sometimes, due to their size, the top cap of Portobello Mushrooms are used as replacements for buns for burgers & sandwiches.
