Hello! My name is Ms. Julie Kitchens. This is my fifth year teaching 7th World Geography and 8th US History at OCSI. The last four years have been thoroughly enjoyable and am looking forward to another exciting and fun year!

I am originally from Alabama where I graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Elementary Education. For two years, I taught middle school on the very small, very humid island of American Samoa. I was very involved in outreaches to the students and the village kids where I lived.

I am excited about seeing familiar faces and getting to know new ones. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the school or send me an email. God Bless!
