Congratulations to Devin Miron and Mia Weekes for being selected as our Subway Student-Athletes of the Month for January. Mia is recognized as our female student-athlete of the month for her dedication, positive attitude and athleticism as a member of the Senior Girls Volleyball team. Devin Miron, our male student-athlete of the month had a dominant 5-game performance in the St. Joseph’s Jaguar Classic Basketball tournament, helping MAC to win the 45-team event. Devin’s skill, leadership, drive to succeed and willingness to sacrifice for his teammates has been evident all season, but was recognized by tournament organizers when he was chosen as the MVP for the tournament.
We would also like to recognize the following athletes who were nominated for this award during the month of January: Billy Gitangaza for Jr. Boys Basketball and Thomas Freel for the Boys Hockey team.
