Certify Now

If Oberlin College is to become carbon neutral and continue to be a leader in sustainability, we cannot just make buildings more efficient- we must live more sustainably. Program certification is designed as a spectrum to include everyone. In order to certify, you must pledge to follow at least 25 of the 49 possible sustainable living criteria. The more criteria you follow, the more sustainable your lifestyle is and, as a result, the higher your ranking.

After submitting this form, you will receive a confirmation email, and an OES Student staffer will review your submission. If you do not qualify for certification at this time, you will be provided with suggestions and encouraged to retry! If you are certified, you will receive a certificate to hang on the door to your room. The visual reminder will hopefully spark conversations with other students about sustainable campus living. Later, you may be contacted to be featured on OES websites and social media!

Please Note: This certification must be completed each academic year and/or whenever you move rooms.
