Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the late work policy?/  

Late work is accepted up until one week after the end of each unit.

2. What do I do if I'm absent?

All work is posted in Canvas.  Please look at the assignment due dates to ensure you're keeping up with the class.  If you're still not sure what to do after looking in Canvas, please come in before or after school to discuss.  

3.  I turned in that assignment, but it's not showing up in Infinite Campus.

First, you may have not submitted it.  Infinite Campus (gradebook) marks all assignments that transfer from Canvas as turned in, even if no work was submitted.  First, check your grades in Canvas (from the Home page, click on "Grades" in the left hand menu).  See if Canvas shows that you completed the assignment.  If you did submit the assignment and you have a score, remember that there can be at least a one day delay for grades to upload from Canvas into Infinite Campus.  If you have further questions, please see me before or after school.

4. Can I redo/retake this assignment for a higher grade?  

Yes, up until the close date.

5. Can I retake the test/quiz?

Yes.  Test and quiz retakes are held after school Tuesdays and Thursdays.  If you are planning to come in, you may want to check with me (in person) to make sure I won't be in a meeting.   You can retake tests and quizzes, but you do need to have all of the unit work completed before you do a test retake.
