Favorite thing about teaching: Getting to work with literature and always having new experiences each day!
Family: My husband, Thad, is Program Manager of Rivers and Streams for the State Game and Parks. We also have a rambunctious daughter, Scout. We love to travel, play/watch sports, dance, and to play cards.
Hobbies/Interest Areas: I love to play and listen to music. You can often find me going to any sort of rock/punk/alternative/ metal concert. I also love to run and ran four Lincoln half marathons. I am going to try to get back into the running habit and maybe someday run a marathon. We have an adorable cat, Theriot, A wonderfully large and docile Doberman named Rupert and an energetic husky named Charlotte. I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing sand volleyball, dancing, , and getting ultra competitive in board games and cards.
