Dear Parents,
The Central District Music Festival is a fantastic event that brings together middle and high school musicians from across Central Massachusetts. 7th and 8th graders may audition to take part in the Junior Central District Concert on Saturday, May 2nd, 2020. Interested students must be available on all of the following days:
Audition: Saturday, February 1, 2020 (Snow Date Feb. 8)
Grafton High School
Rehearsals: Monday, April 6, 2020 (3:30-7:30pm)
Wednesday, April 29, 2020 (3:30-7:30pm)
Bromfeld School, Harvard MA
Saturday, May 2, 2020 (9:15-3:00 PM)
Franklin High School, Franklin MA
Concert: Saturday, May 2, 2020

FSS will not be providing a bus to the rehearsals. Parents will be responsible for getting their children to rehearsal at least fifteen minutes early in order to have time to warm up. We will send out a list of participants so you can arrange carpools ahead of time.
Students may only perform one audition, with the exception of jazz auditioners, who may audition for a second group. If your child is interested in auditioning, please let their ensemble teacher know. Only a limited number of students may audition, and we will take students on a first come, first served basis. To secure their audition spot, students must bring in a check for $10 made out to CDMMEA by Wednesday, December 11. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
