Britannica School Edition-Search reference articles, periodical articles, multimedia, and the web's best sites. Helpful features unique to this database include the option to read articles at three different reading levels, translation tools, and text to speech.
Britannica Escolar Online is a Spanish reference database for middle school (in Spanish) -Also, see the "Britannica Spanish Reference Center Tips" attached to the bottom of this webpage.
World Book Database-This database includes World Book Kids, Student, Advanced, Discover, Timelines, and Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos (in Spanish). Helpful features of this database include translations tools and text to speech. To differentiate reading levels, World Book Kids has articles that are shortest with the most simple vocabulary. World Book Student has longer articles with more advanced vocabulary, and World Book Advanced has the longest articles with the most advanced vocabulary.
CultureGrams-Explore the world through World Edition and Kids Edition, or explore the United States and Canada through States Edition and Provinces Edition. This database includes images, videos, recipes, citations, and more! This database also includes the text to speech tool. To differentiate reading levels, the Kids Edition uses simpler vocabulary, while the World Edition uses more advanced vocabulary.
Gale Database Collection -The GALE databases include over 33 different databases on all subjects! Click the icon to view them all! These databases include translation tools and text to speech. To choose articles based on reading level, select "Advanced Search" and limit search results by selecting "basic" under "content type." Under "Advanced search", you can also limit search results by Lexile reading levels.
