I grew up on Long Island, New York. From a young age, music was a big part of my life. I sang in chorus, played clarinet in band, and loved being part of the musicals. I decided I wanted to become a music teacher to make sure children had the wonderful experience I had!
I received my Bachelors degree in Music Education from the University of Delaware in 2012 and my Masters in Music Education from Gordon College in 2016. At the University of Delaware, I sang in the operas, gave tours of campus, and was part of a choir that got to tour and compete all over the world- we went to China, Spain, France, Hungary, Greece, Austria, and Germany! It was an incredible experience!
This is my 12th year at the Batch and I love working with the students, families, and teachers in the NR community. I'm very passionate about the importance of music education in our schools. During my time here, I've started a ukulele program and drama club and mentored many student teachers.
I live in Boston with my husband and daughter, Celeste. I love exploring the city, going to concerts and musicals, dancing, skiing, reading and traveling. And of course- I love to sing! I am part of a choir called the Boston Choral Ensemble and perform all over the city.
