The Norfolk Public Schools Family & Consumer Sciences program includes a comprehensive secondary program to teach skills for success in careers, families, communities, and society. Course offerings include a variety of subjects within Family & Consumer Sciences such as Human Sciences and Resources, Intro to Health Careers, Early Childhood Development, Human Development, Foods, Nutrition, Financial Literacy, Relationships, Housing, Interior and Clothing Design. The foundational course offerings are Life Management, Careers, Wellness, and 21st Century Living which are taken during the 7th and 8th grades at Norfolk Junior High.
