About Mrs. Ducharme and Contact Information

Hello! My name is Laurie Ducharme.

Welcome to the 5th grade at Nottingham School!

I have been teaching in Nottingham for 22 years! I started out as a 4th grade teacher and have spent the last 17 years in the 5th grade.

I received my M.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire.

My basic educational philosophy is that students need to be taught within their personal "learning zone" in order to progress with their skills. That means that instruction needs to be differentiated to meet the individual needs of each student.
