French 1R Course Description

This course is a continuation of level 1A and is a high school credit bearing class.

Students will build on prior knowledge of the French language and culture, students will communicate in the target language through written expressions, oral and aural activities. Students will engage in authentic songs, films and readings and have a better understanding of the culture. This course concentrates on grammar and comprehension through readings. Exams and authentic assessment are utilized to evaluate student aptitude of the language. Students will be challenged daily to demonstrate proficiency in the target language.
