Audition Materials - Band

Band Auditions for Concert/Symphonic Bands take place during Lesson Cycles 3 & 4 of the 1st Quarter.

Audition material will consist of the following:

1) Sight-reading.

2) ALL major scales (as many as you are able to play) - C, F, Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, Gb(F#), B, E, A, D, G, and chromatic over full playing range.  Students will receive extra points for memorization and multiple octaves. See your lesson teacher if you need a copy of the scale sheet for your instrument.

3) Prepared etudes (you will receive after sight reading).
