Totalitarianism: A small body (e.g., a single ruler, a single political party, a single military unit, etc.) establishes a system controlling ALL aspects of a society.

This is distinct from authoritarianism in which a small body (e.g., a single ruler, a single political party, a single military unit, etc.) establishes a system controlling the political aspect of a society.
