Profile
Pradeep Singh received the M.Tech. degree in Software Engineering from the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Raipur, India. He is currently working as Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science Engineering in National Institute of Technology. He has over ten years of experience in various government academic institutes. He is the author of two books and over 50 research papers. He has published research papers in prestigious journals including, e.g., IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics and Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems etc.
He is Principle investigator of a research project funded by Chhattisgarh Council of Science & Technology (CGCOST), Raipur. He has organized two national conferences technically sponsored by IE and CSI. He has also worked as Member of organizing committee in several IEEE international conferences in India and abroad. Dr. Singh has visited several Universities in Singapore, Spain, Thailand and Croatia (Split).
His current research interests include Machine learning, Evolutionary computing, Empirical studies on software quality and software fault prediction models. Currently, four Ph.D. scholars are working under his Supervision.
He has delivered numerous invited talks, conference & seminar presentations throughout the country and chaired technical sessions in International and national conferences in India. He is an active reviewer for several journals including IEEE & Elsevier’s Journals of the domain. He is a member of IEEE Computer Society, International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology, Computer Society of India, International Association of Engineers, and the Association for Computing Machinery.
