About Me

I am Ramona Thackston, and I have been at Bradley Creek Elementary School since 2002. I have taught first, second, third, and fifth grade while being here. My husband has been through 28 years of me teaching and getting ready for me to start my 29th year this year.

I have 3 beautiful daughters who take up a lot of my time. My oldest daughter graduated from UNCW and hopefully, she will be deciding on grad school soon. My middle child just has also graduated from Queens University in Charlotte, and she wants to become a Physician Assistant, so she will be going to grad school in about a year. My youngest daughter is a eighth-grader at RGMS, and she keeps me busy with dance and other after school activities.

I have a dog named Tucker, and a grand dog named Paisley. They are both spoiled for sure.

I love teaching and seeing those light bulbs beam when students are getting a skill. My other passion is watching Carolina football and basketball. I am also an avid San Francisco 49ers fan! So you can imagine one of my favorite colors is Carolina blue and the other is black.
