Brief Bio
I grew up in Wilmington and went to Gregory, Williston, and New Hanover. Hopefully I'm not as awkward and oblivious as I was when I went to school here, but that's still up for debate. Got a degree in history and a masters in teaching from UNCW after a few years of exploring in my late teens and early twenties. Big sports fan, and still like to play a few. The Washington Redskins, Chicago Cubs, and Carolina basketball are the teams I live and die with (mostly die in the case of the Redskins and Cubs). Favorite movies include Caddyshack, Trading Places and Coming to America, Big, The Princess Bride, Kevin Costner sports movies, pretty much every Tom Cruise flick, and a host of others. Love to read, but I don't do it enough. Listen to jazz, rock n' roll, hip-hop if it's saying something, and classical music if I'm trying to concentrate. Most importantly I love teaching because the kids are amazing (most of the time).
