About the Teacher
Hello! My name is Mr. Shumate and I am a fifth grade teacher at Alderman Elementary . I have been at Alderman for six years! I enjoy teaching the students about everything and anything that has to do with Science and Math! We discuss, analyze, think about, and explore weather, forces, motion, ecosystems, the human body, and matter. We will also work on becoming math stars as we learn about fractions, decimals, geometry, and many other math concepts! I am so excited to have your student in my class this year!
