Hello! My name is Shannon Clark. I grew up in Asheville, NC and moved to Wilmington to attend UNCW, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Biology. I’m also proud to hold my National Board Certification.
I’ve been teaching for 22 years, and during that time I’ve taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. I truly love working with young learners and helping them grow throughout the year.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, Leighton (12) and Jackson (10) and our dog, Maple. I love walking on the beach, hunting for sea glass and pretty shells, visiting the mountains to hike, and enjoying hobbies like photography, reading, and gardening.
