About Me

Welcome to 3rd grade at College Park Elementary School! My name is Sarah Damon and I am excited to have your child in my class this year. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 3rd grade prior to this year and am thrilled to be teaching 3rd grade again! This is my 13th year at College Park.

I was born and raised in Goldsboro, NC and moved to Wilmington to attend UNCW in 2005. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in English in 2009. I pursued a Master's degree in Language and Literacy from UNCW in 2011. Language arts is my passion and I hope to instill a love of reading in my students both in and outside of the classroom. 

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs. I also love the beach, reading, music, sports, and exercising!
