Master Sergeant Bruce D. See Jr., USAF (Retired) has been the Assistant Aerospace Science Instructor at Emsley A. Laney High School, NC 802 from 7 November 2011 to the present time. He retired from active duty as the Air Force Base Honor Guard Superintendent, 94th Airlift Wing/Mission Support Group, Dobbins, ARB, GA. As such, he was assigned to manage, train and guide the Base Honor Guard teams in their performances of Military Funeral Honors, military retirement and promotion ceremonies, luncheons and civilian events as deemed appropriate by the installation commander. He had held that position from May 2005 to October 2011. Immediately prior to that, he was assigned as an Air Force Reserve Recruiter from August 2001 to May 2005. He was assigned as a member and instructor of the Base Honor Guard, 94th Airlift Wing as an additional duty while he was assigned as an Air Transportation Specialist in the 94th Airlift Wing (USAF Reserve) from March 2000 to August 2001. He served on active duty at Hill AFB, UT as an F-16 Avionic Systems Journeyman, Attack Control Systems from October 1995 to May 1998 and as a supply Management Journeyman from December 1989 to October 1995 at Minot AFB, ND.
MSgt See has earned the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Achievement Medal, the Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal with three oak leaf clusters, the Southwest Asia Service Medal with a bronze star device, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the National Defense Service Medal with one bronze star device, the Global War on Terrorism Medal, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal with one hour glass device, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award Ribbon with two oak leaf clusters, the Air Force Organizational Excellence Award, the Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with three oak leaf devices, the NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon, the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, and the Air Force Basic Military Training Ribbon.
He is married to the former Toni Huether; they have one son, Zayne, two daughters, Rhiannon and Mckenzie, a daughter-in-law, Tiffany and a grandson, Sawyer.
