About Me

Robb Voetsch-Rainford

    Hi, my name is Robb Voetsch-Rainford, and I am very excited to be teaching 2nd grade at John J. Blair Elementary School!  This is my 10th year with New Hanover County Schools.  I previously taught 1st  and 4th grades at Castle Hayne Elementary School.

    I  moved to the Wilmington area with my daughter, Briana, from Denver, Colorado in the summer of 2016, where I taught 4th and 6th grades for 10 years and served as the Assistant Principal at an Elementary school for  2 years.  I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Behavioral Science and Elementary Education, and my Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.  I started working on my Doctorate in Educational Administration, but had to put it on hold because of my move, I'm hoping to start back up in another program soon.

  When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my beautiful granddaughters,  Charlotte (I call her Charlie) and Chloe.  I also like to go to the beach, take long walks with my  pups Tucker and Barrington, go kayaking, and spend time with my family that live in the area.
