My Mission for our classes:

The goal of our classes is to have the students to not just quote facts and historical data but to THINK about the topics we discuss in order to make the material relevant in understanding the world in which we live. I want to CHALLENGE the students to expand their knowledge of and desire to learn about our world, government, and history. I hope they take the opportunity to challenge themselves in order to understand not only their own beliefs but those of others. By challenging their own beliefs and method of learning, I hope the students GROW to become life-long learners and productive, active citizens in our community, country, and world. Finally, I hope the students can see my passion for teaching and will ENJOY the process and journey that we will take together in our classes.

Hello all and welcome to the Spring 2026 semester. Please check your school emails, website, and Canvas consistently to keep up with the most up to date information associated with our classes. We will be using Canvas as our management system and you are expected to check daily for assignments, discussions, and announcements.

I will continue using Canvas this year as my Learning Management System. Please tell your child to check their emails and Canvas daily.
My suggestion is for students to follow their Canvas course assignments and announcements as I post reminders via announcements consistently.

In addition, you should make it a daily routine to check your student email for any information and/or reminders. Please let me know if you have any questions!

You will see several icon apps-select the RED Canvas icon.
That will take you to your dashboard and you will see your courses for this semester.
