All About Me!
Mrs. (Cecil) Hardin
K-5 MTSS Coordinator and Interventionist
I went to college at Appalachian State University and graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. My student teaching was done in a kindergarten classroom in Boone, N.C. I also graduated in 2011 from UNCW with my Master's in Language and Literacy. This is my 16th year in education. It is my 13th year at Bradley Creek Elementary and my 3rd year in the role of MTSS coordinator and interventionist. I previously taught 1st grade for 13 years. 10 of those 13 years were here in 1st grade at Bradley Creek! I love being a part of the amazing Bradley Creek family! Go Dolphins! :)
I grew up in the small, country town of Lexington, N.C. However, living at the beach has always been my dream and in 2008 I made that dream come true. I am grateful and excited to call the beach my home! I recently married my husband, James, in the mountains of Virginia. I am also a bonus mom to my wonderful stepdaughter, Nina. I live in Carolina Beach and spend most of my time with my family outside on the beach, playing in the ocean, or riding my bike around the island. My sweet little black maltipoo puppy named Bally recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She loved going on bike rides with me! We also recently added Pearl, a black golden doodle, to our family. She has a spunky and silly personality. She has brought sweet puppy love back into our home.
