Meet Miss Tait

Hello! I am very excited to be your teacher this year. This is my twenty-seventh year teaching. This is my eleventh year at Codington Elementary and I love being a teacher here! Previously, I have been a teacher in both Pender and Brunswick Counties. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, but I am so happy to be in 1st grade now. I can’t wait to have so much fun this year!

I love reading, watching TV, dancing, going out to eat, walking, playing on the computer, and shopping  online—especially on Amazon! I received my Masters in Elementary Education from UNCW a few years ago and I am very proud of myself for that big accomplishment.

Throughout the year, our classroom will become a family. You are going to have an amazing year in 1st grade and I am ecstatic that I get to be a part of it. I am always here for you if you have any questions or want to talk. Welcome to 1st grade!!! Believe in Yourself!!
