A word or two from Mrs. Dunn!

Hello! Welcome! Let me start by saying how grateful I am to be able to work with your child this year! I am looking forward to sharing and engaging in the learning process with both you and your child.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Alexandra Dunn. I have a passion to work with children and am thrilled to be continuing my career as a teacher. Aside from school I enjoy spending time with family and friends, shopping, and traveling. I am a North Carolina native. I attended elementary, middle, and high school in Duplin County. I then attend North Carolina State University, where I earned a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in STEM Education. Most recently I graduated from Gardner Webb University with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I currently reside in Wilmington  with my husband, Dave, our sons, Coleman, Miller, and Boone, and our dog, Amos. With that being said, I am very excited to see what this year has in store.

Please feel free to discuss any issues that may occur with me. If I can’t help you find a solution for your concern, I will do my best to find someone who can.
