In 2nd grade we use an amazing phonics curriculum called Fundations. We also have a great online program called Lalilo that will reinforce and teach reading and phonics concepts.
Weekly spelling will come from the NHCS 2nd grade core words. After we are done with the core words we will use Fundations level 2 words for spelling to reinforce what students are learning in phonics!
For weekly spelling practice use the word work choice board or use your own creative ideas! Spelling test are given on Friday mornings.
