Pine Valley's Elementary Chess Club is an extra curricula activity. This club is not for beginners! All students must have experience playing Chess. To qualify, students will take a brief written test to identify the basics of the game.

Participants will come to room #201 one or two mornings a week from 7:15-7:40 am. Upon arrival at school, students must report to their homeroom classroom to unpack and have all completed classroom activities ready to participate.

Mrs. Conn is the teacher adviser and will monitor the activity. If concerns develop with any student, the homeroom teacher and parent will be notified before the student can return to chess. This club is a privilege!

If you played chess last year, you will be automatically invited back this year!
