My name is Lauren Applewhite.  I was a North Carolina Teaching Fellow and graduated from UNCW in 2008.  I am a National Board Certified teacher and this year will be my 16th year of teaching.  I have previously taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. I am so excited to be returning to 3rd grade this year!  My husband, David, and I have been married for 14 years.  We have two children; Brayden who is in 8th grade and Kenzie (KG) who in 4th grade. I love spending time with my family!  I am very excited about the opportunity to work with you and your child this school year.
