Pride
This was a big summer of reading. I expanded my genre pallet to include more YA nonfiction, an adult memoir, and even read a princess series!
The grand finale was a quick read called "Pride" by Ibi Zoboi, a modern retelling of the classic, "Pride and Prejudice". This book illustrates a strong image of cultural identity, first love, and the challenge of coping with change. It is one I will probably read again!
