I was born and raised in New York (Buffalo area) and have lived in Wilmington for 27 years. My husband Steve and I have 4 children who all graduated from Codington. My hobbies are spending time with my 5 beautiful grandchildren, thrifting, and gardening.
I have 32 years of experience in teaching (29 in Kindergarten). I began my career in special education before I moved to Wilmington and began teaching at Codington. As you can imagine, I love working with children and truly treasure my rewarding job. You will soon discover that I am a very loving individual who will quickly develop a strong, nurturing relationship with your child. I work extremely hard to create an enriching nurturing environment that fosters empathy, diversity, independence, cooperative learning and leadership.
Degrees: Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education , Masters Degree in Exceptional Education, Nationally Board Certified Teacher, County Lead Mentor.
Mrs. Lilly- is our classroom assistant. She has been at Codington since the doors have opened! She has three beautiful children. Kendra and Patricia and Selina. This will be our tenth year working together and we could not be happier to combine both of our expertise and loving nature to welcome your children to school and prepare them for First grade.
