I am the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support) Coordinator and UNCW Site Coordinator for Forest Hills Elementary. I also provide intensive interventions for students and support core and supplemental instruction.

A little about me:
Teaching is my calling and I am excited to be a Forest Hills Mustang! Originally from Durham, NC, I moved to Wilmington to attend UNCW in 2000 and have loved it ever since. I graduated from UNCW in 2004 and began teaching in January of 2005 at Burgaw Elementary School in Pender County. While teaching second grade in Burgaw I earned my Masters Degree from UNCW in Elementary Education. In 2011 I came to NHCS and worked at Sunset Park as a teacher, MTSS Coordinator and UNCW Site Coordinator. I also received my National Board Certification in 2013 and recently maintained this certification, which is an accomplishment that I am very proud of. Starting the fall of 2023, I will be at Forest Hills Elementary as MTSS Coordinator and UNCW Site Coordinator.
