My Mission Statement
I am a first grade teacher at Bellamy Elementary School. I am committed to providing my students with an enriched, differentiated, hands on learning environment. When you enter my classroom, you will observe children having fun while working cooperatively, collaborating, making discoveries. I work closely with parents to provide resources and information to assist them in helping their children meet their full potential in all academic and social areas. My class participates in daily yoga which helps both their minds and bodies so they will be calm, focused and ready to learn throughout the day. Citizens of our community are always greeted with a warm welcome and are put to work! They work with small groups of children or with individual students on their specific needs. As a result of continuous differentiation, collaboration, and data driven instruction, my students show significant growth throughout the school year in all areas. Each spring I look forward to seeing all the seeds that were planted become flowers that have blossomed!
