About the Counselor

Hi Everyone! I am so excited to be your school counselor at SEA-Tech! A little about me..

I have a Master of Education degree in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. I also earned my National Board Certification in Counseling in 2011. This is my 16th year as a high school counselor. Prior to coming to SEA-Tech, I worked at South Brunswick High School. Before I became a school counselor, I was a special education teacher for 5 years. Before that, I worked as a substitute teacher and a teacher assistant. I also teach online college classes part time. As you can see, I have been working with children and in education for quite a while now!

On a personal note, I have been married to my husband Justin for 18 years and we have 2 beautiful daughters, Kaylee, who is 13, and Kara who is 8. When I am not working, I am usually at a dance class or competition with one of my girls! They certainly keep us busy.
