Volunteer Background Check
VOLUNTEER BACKGROUND CHECK
The on line background check portal is now accessible for Level II volunteers. If you would like to attend field trips with your child’s class you must complete the online application and the background check (Level II volunteer).
Go to nhcs.net to the link, Volunteer Programs/Portal and complete an online background check application. You can find this link on the NHCS home page as well as under the parent and community tabs. A payment of $20.00 will be needed for the background check. The background check is good for three years. The volunteer will receive an email approved or denied within 7 – 10 days. If approved, the volunteer will receive an identification card must be shown to school personnel upon volunteering.
IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED THIS, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND ANY FIELD TRIPS. THIS IS A COUNTY POLICY.
