Here's what we look for in our applicants:

• Age: 16-18.  (But it's often hard for younger students to overcome the experience and activities of older students)

• School:  Are they doing well in school? This really matters because great attendance, active participation and effort in class, and being responsible for your schoolwork are all keys to success in school AND in an internship

• Calendar:  Is there calendar open and available for a long term after school internship (usually 4-5 days a week)

• Experience:  Does the student have a demonstrated interest and activities in a  career field?  Our goal is to find students who are realy motivated by the specific opportunity.

• Need:  Do they need to work?  If they don't need to work then there are great unpaid internships they should be looking act.

• Transportation:  Can they get to work on time and home safely
