Below are a few beginning of second grade fundation lessons.  The progression of lessons are consonants and  short vowels, diagraphs (sh, wh, th, ch, ck), r-controlled vowels(ar, or, ir, er, ur), glued sounds (ang, onk, ...), suffixes (ing, est, es, ed...) vowel consonant e (i_e...) and vowel teams (oa, oe, ow, au, aw...)
