I have lived in Wilmington, NC since I was 12 years old! 

I received my undergraduate degree in Communication and Broadcasting/Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. 

I earned my advanced level Master of Science Degree from East Carolina University in Communication Disorders and am licensed by the American Speech-Language, Hearing Association (Certificate of Clinical Competence), the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and by the North Carolina State Board of Education (NC Department of Public Instruction). 

I work currently work with students in grades Preschool- 5 at Pine Valley Elementary School. 

 Fun fact, Over the years, I have worked at the following New Hanover County Schools:  Pine Valley Elementary School,  J. C. Roe Center, Lake Forest Academy, Bradley Creek Elementary School, Noble Middle School, Ashley High School, Hoggard High School, Roland-Grise Middle School, New Hanover High School and Gregory Elementary School.   This is my 15th year providing speech-language therapy services to students at Pine Valley Elementary School.

When not at school working with students, my favorite pastime is being with my own children, Lexi and Christian, and my husband, Tony. I also love spending time at the beach or on a boat with a good book, traveling to new places and playing tennis.
