About Mrs. Madden 

My name is Catherine (Cathy) Madden and I have been a Top Tiger at Pine Valley since 2009.  I am so grateful to be a part of this wonderful school! I began teaching for NC Public Schools in 2002.  I have taught 7th grade language arts, kindergarten, fifth grade, and currently third grade.  

     My husband Chris and I have three children in New Hanover Co. Schools.  In my spare time I love spending time with my family, painting, reading, playing tennis, and watching sports (especially basketball)!  

     I firmly  believe that all children can succeed and look forward to working with you and your child to help reach child's goals and spark his or her love of life-long learning.
