My name is Nikki Karnes and I am a Kindergarten teacher at Masonboro Elementary. I have been at Masonboro for 18 years, but have been teaching for 26!! Time flies when you LOVE what you do! I graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education. I am originally from Danvillie, VA where most of my family still lives. I moved here to Wilmington just before marrying my husband, Chris. We have one amazing son, Christopher, who is 15 years old and loves anything that has to do with space! We also have 2 cats, Comet and Leo.
