About Me

Hello! I am Buffy Constantine, and I am thrilled to serve as the School Librarian/ Media Coordinator here at Blair Elementary. This marks my 20th year at Blair and my 25th year in education, with previous experience teaching kindergarten, 4th grade, and 5th grade. I am a  National Board Certified Teacher, and I am currently furthering my professional journey by pursuing a Master’s in Library Science at ECU.

Originally from the beautiful state of Vermont, I have proudly made Wilmington my home. My husband, Shane, and I are the proud parents of our daughter, Brooke, who graduated from NC State in 2019—Go Wolf Pack! We also welcomed a grandchild in June 2025. We also love our  9-year-old English Staffy, Onyx.

Outside of my passion for teaching and learning, you can usually find me on the pickleball court, traveling, or working on creative projects with my Cricut.

I hope to instill in my students a love and enjoyment of reading and to empower them to become future-ready, lifelong Digital Learners.
