About Me

I am thrilled to start another year of teaching kindergarten at Anderson! It is exciting to partner with parents to create a lifelong love of learning in a new wonderful group of children.

I was born and raised in West Virginia. Graduating from Marshall University, I earned a BA in both Exceptional Children and Elementary Education. My husband and I moved our family to Wilmington 26 years ago. We have two grown children, a son Brooks and daughter Grace. When I am not teaching I love to read, swim, and just have fun with my family.
