I wanted to take moment to briefly introduce myself!  After receiving a degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Occupational Therapy from James Madison University I became a preschool teacher in Richmond, VA.  Since that time I’ve obtained my Elementary Education License from UNCW, and I’ve worked with children of all ages across New Hanover County.  I’ve been working with children at Blair for over eleven and a half years.

          I have a very energetic teaching style, and I love incorporating movement, music, inquiry based projects, and group activities into our daily routines. 

Along with the academic curriculum of second grade, I personally have four additional goals for your children and I this year.  

Your child will: 

• Feel cared for, comforted, and supported

• Develop confidence in themselves and their many unique gifts and skills

• Learn how to become a problem solver independently and with others

• Find a love of learning new things, and enjoy school
