About Me

About Me:

My name is Amanda Dunn and I will be teaching your student's sixth grade science class. I am excited to help students learn about the world around them and realize their interests and goals. I received a M.A. in Teaching Middle Grades Education from UNCW. This is my third year at Murray.

I have lived in Wilmington for the past 24 years with my husband, two children, and dogs. I practiced dental hygiene for 17 years and worked in my field of geology (industrial mining) prior to that. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child in the upcoming weeks. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead.
