What Is HHA and Applications

The HAWKS Honor Association is dedicated to service to Newtown High School.  HHA members assist at a variety of school functions, including Middle School Panel, Eighth Grade Parent Night, and Parents Conferences.

Students are required to volunteer in at least 3 school community service events each semester (a total of 6 per school year).  Continued membership in HHA is based on fulfilling this requirement, professionalism at school community service events, and honoring commitments made to attend school community service events.

Students in 10th, 11th and 12th grade can complete applications for 2023-2024 for membership in HHA.  Students must have an 80 average with no courses failed.
