Take Home Folders
Take Home folders will come home on Fridays. The right side will be filled with all of the wonderful work we completed during the week. Please look through the work with your child and send the folder back to school empty on Monday so we can begin filling it again. On the left side there will be a sample spelling list. Please remember in 2nd grade we focus on the spelling skill, so the words on the list may or may not appear on the spelling test. The spelling test is 2 sentences dictated to your child that they write down. With this test we are not only checking for spelling, but for correct capitalization and punctuation.
