Reading
1. Read our weekly story on Tuesday and reread the story on Thursday evening, at home.
2. Ask for help with the parts of our weekly story that you don't understand.
3. Pay close attention as the class reads the story and discusses it.
4. Pay attention on Thursdays when Mrs. Cline and Mrs. Fox asks questions during Reading. Hint: many of these questions are test questions.
5. Read! Read! Read! Read fun books! Read magazines! Read your AR book! Just read! Read aloud and to yourself for 20-30 minutes every day. This will help your reading skills, spelling, and your vocabulary.
Math
1. Do homework assignments
2. Go to the computer and practice math facts - there are tons of great sites to practice facts - check out our Extra Help Sites link under Navigation
3. Ask your family to help with logical reasoning puzzles. These will help brain cells grow.
4. Practice flashcards - online or with cards
5. Ask for help with any skills you don't understand
