MOLECULAR MICROBIOLOGY
In NeoAnalytics Laboratory, we are using a syndromic approach in selecting or developing our diagnostic platform for infectious disease. Today’s targeted infectious disease diagnostics limit testing to only the most common pathogens associated with a clinical syndrome.
Using state-of-the-art, FDA-cleared multiplex PCR system, we identified multiple infectious agents including viruses, bacteria, and parasites, that responsible for many illnesses.
Our 4-24 hour turn-around-time for the detection and identification of infectious agent, enables our clinicians to provide timely and proper treatment for their patients.
IMMUNOLOGY – ALLERGY SCREENING
More than 50 million Americans have experienced various types of allergies each year and are the 6th leading causes of chronic illness in the US according to CDC and American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. It is the most common health issues affecting children in the US that resulting in about 200,000 ER visits each year.
Screening for Allergy can be done thru skin test and also blood/serum sample. One disadvantage of Allergy blood test is long turn-around-time. This is due to the long processing time (8 hours for 8 samples).
NeoAnalytics Laboratory have been able to develop a comprehensive test menu of the common allergens using minimal volume (as low as 0.1 mL of serum) and short processing time (as short as 2 hours for 40 samples) to ensure our clinicians a timely and accurate result.
We are in OPIOID CRISIS!! According to CDC, in 2017, the number of overdose deaths involving opioids (including prescription opioids and illegal opioids like heroin and illicitly manufactured fentanyl) was 6 times higher than in 1999. On average, 130 Americans die every day from an opioid overdose.
As Clinical Laboratory becoming more and more important tool in monitoring chronic pain patients who require chronic opioids (and other drugs) therapy, NeoAnalytics Laboratory is committed in supporting the fight against opioids and other drug-related overdose epidemics (including alcohol and synthetic drugs).
Currently, we are developing comprehensive test menu containing common pain management prescription drugs and other psychoactive drugs using state-of-the-art methodology.
