Registration for the Half-12 Hours In The Piney is now open and will close at 9pm, Thursday 12 November 2026.

Details: After a hiatus of several years, the 12 Hours In The Piney is returning. Only this time it's a 6 hour race, half the previous event times.

11am: 6 Hour Team & Solo Race

The Track

8km of the Pine forest trails 'out the back' of the original forest. These are the flat and faster sections of the forest so great for any mountain bike skill level. 

With the hill section of the original forest clear-felled over recent years the race village/trail head has moved to come off Pine Forest Road about 1.5km past the Tilbuster Ponds bridge on Rockvale Road. 

The race route will encompass the trails on the eastern side of The Piney. With some of the old favorites no longer available due to the forest management, this has meant refurbishing some old trails, building some fun new ones and giving everything else a polish.

There will be a Coffee van + basic food options ( Bacon/ Egg breaky rolls / Baked Potatos).

Potable Water (limited) will be available onsite
